Swedish Gravy (For Swedish Meatballs)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ea Shallots Minced
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 2 tbs flour
  • 3 tbs Worcestershire
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tsp Ground Allspice
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Salt and Pepper To taste

Instructions
 

  • Sweat shallots in butter on low heat until translucent about 5 minutes
  • Add flour and continuously stir to create a roux and cook until lightly browned
  • Add the remaining ingredients and simmer until slightly thick
