Swedish Gravy (For Swedish Meatballs)
- 1 ea Shallots Minced
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 tbs flour
- 3 tbs Worcestershire
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup Sour Cream
- 1 tsp Ground Allspice
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- Salt and Pepper To taste
Sweat shallots in butter on low heat until translucent about 5 minutes
Add flour and continuously stir to create a roux and cook until lightly browned
Add the remaining ingredients and simmer until slightly thick
