This bread is excellent when dipped in a small amount of olive oil containing dried herbs.
Whole-Wheat Beer Bread
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup whole-wheat flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 4 tbsp honey
- 1 12oz. can light beer never opened
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Stir in honey and beer.
- Pour batter into a loaf pan coated with non-stick cooking spray and dusted with flour.
- Bake at 350 F for 40-45 minutes.
