Whole-Wheat Beer Bread

This bread is excellent when dipped in a small amount of olive oil containing dried herbs.

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 1 12oz. can light beer never opened


  • Combine dry ingredients.
  • Stir in honey and beer.
  • Pour batter into a loaf pan coated with non-stick cooking spray and dusted with flour.
  • Bake at 350 F for 40-45 minutes.
